thank you for joining us this weekend at parcelle wines! as you are sip on your afternoon wine spritz (because it's the weekend 💁🏻♀️ and we want you all to treat yourselves), read up a bit on the banchan sunny has prepared for your future banchan boxes. any and all questions, please throw our way.

- stuffed cucumber kimchi (vegan + gf). lightly salted cucumbers stuffed with carrots, daikon radish, pear, ginger, garlic, and gochugaru chili flakes.
- sesame marinated greens namul (vegan + gf). spinach and seaweed marinated with garlic, sesame seeds + oil, rice vinegar and honey.
- pickled Hog Farm cherry tomatoes + ginger (vegan, gf). peeled cherry tomatoes and ginger marinated in a cool summer brine of seaweed broth and rice vinegar, finished with perilla seed oil.
- acorn jelly with plum chojang (vegan, gf). acorn starch jelly marinated in korean ganjang blended with honey and fresh plums.
- smoky eggplant namul (vegan, gf). a classic sunny banchan of roasted eggplant bathing in a smoked chili marinade with roasted sesame seeds, garlic, pickled chili brine and honey.
- zucchini and pine nut muchim (vegan, gf). Hog Farm baby zucchini is sliced and salted before being cooked in the korean bokkeum-style with black pepper and pine nuts.
- napa cabbage kimchi (gf, dairy free). korea's signature banchan is aged in sunny's beloved onggis (korean fermentation pots) with gochugaru chili flakes, garlic, ginger, pear, and anchovy. contains no shellfish.
- korean potato salad (vegetarian, gf, dairy free). korean potato salad is virtually a trail mix of flavor suspended in salty and mayo-y potatoes. sunny's has peas, carrots, chunks of crunchy asian pear, scallions, and black pepper. this banchan is vital on the table, and the perfect accompaniment to any spicy and robust banchan.
- fresh perilla kimchi with salted shrimp (gf, dairy free). kkaenip kimchi is a celebration of summertime, when the perilla is a wild bush on every korean's lawn, aromatic, chewy and peppery. Hog Farm and Halal Farm perilla is lathered in gochugaru chili flakes, garlic, ginger, plum, and salty confetti of saeujeot, or little brined shrimp from Korea. unravel the leaves and wrap it around a ball of rice for the most cravable bite.
- candied baby anchovies + peanuts (gf, dairy free). sunny thinks of this banchan as the croutons banchan. sprinkle it over the top of everything and every so often you'll experience the crunch of a fatty peanut, a little baby anchovy, or golden raisin, all candied with ganjang, honey and fish sauce.
- ajjuma's fish braised romano beans (pescatarian, dairy free) this banchan is the newest arrival to banchan by sun's catalog of side dishes. born from the classic godeungeo mujorim, or mackerel braised radish. this version layers yukon potatoes, onion, chili peppers, daikon radish, and a plethora of beans, before whole mackerel are braised over the top in a top secret marinade.
- soy marinated egg (vegetarian, dairy free). soft boiled eggs are marinated in a soy sauce brine with kombu, ginger, garlic, chili and mushrooms until they're savory and jammy.
